Our mission is to provide environmental education to preserve the spirit of the cultural traditions and natural heritage of this magnificent Earth.
Other Description, Special Projects:
Our current educational programs include: The Watershed Learning Project for public school fifth grade students where six out of nine days students are out in the community exploring water issues. The Water Wonder Program for public school second grade students where 4 out of six days students explore water conservation. PeaceJam for local Taos teens in collaboration with the International PeaceJam group. Locally we mentor teens for environmental peace community service projects. Water Sentinels, in collaboration with the Sierra Club we are training youth and adults to conduct water quality monitoring along local streams. Awakening the Dreamer Symposiums, in collaboration with the Pachamama Alliance we present the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium to empower citizens to make personal changes that will sustain life on earth.
