Basic Project WILD Workshop

This basic training is designed for educators of K-12. Nonformal educators and homeschool parents are also welcome. Project WILD and Project WILD Aquatic is an international network of students, educators, parents, community leaders, educational administrators, wildlife agencies and conservation groups. Project WILD goals are to assist people of any age in developing awareness, knowledge, skills and commitment resulting in informed decisions, responsible behavior and constructive actions involving wildlife and the environment upon which all life depends. This is a basic WILD workshop and participants will be active both indoors and outside. Please bring a sack lunch and beverage. Dress to be outside part of the day. Participants will recieve the two Project WILD Activity guides,supporting materials for classroom use, posters, and fabulous prizes. Attendance all day at this workshop is required to receive the Project WILD Guides. NOTE: This is a pre-conference workshop for the annual conference hosted by the NM Council of Math Teachers, NM Science Teachers Association and the Environmental Education Association of NM.
