Raptors and the Rio

Short Description:
As it flows from its headwaters in Southern Colorado to the Gulf of Mexico, the Rio Grande cuts through the center of New Mexico, defining a way of life for plants and animals. This program will introduce you to the ecological relationships made possible by the river, from the tiniest snail to the most majestic eagle, and how our own actions can sustain the web of life into the future. This broadly accessible program is designed for Nature Centers and State Parks, but will be made available in classrooms November 2007 to July 2008. Please contact us to schedule a free program at your qualifying venue. (505)255-7622
